Hello and Welcome!
My vision is to connect and inspire mothers, carers and communities with each other so that they feel empowered to raise children who are wholly connected with themselves (head, heart and hands) and to the planet. I believe from the bottom of my heart that peace begins in the home.
I am Meagan, Mama to 4 beautiful souls: North, Indigo, Juniper and Sage and loving wife to Brad. After living ten years in Sydney, Australia we just recently took flight and put down new roots in the Canadian countryside just outside of Toronto.
I began researching play-based learning, natural parenting and early childhood education in 2008 after the birth of my first child and on that journey I stumbled across some Waldorf inspired blogs that resonated with me deeply. From that moment on I spent countless hours reading about the importance of rhythm and developing, planning and animating our own daily rhythm. With each new year, new child and new stage & age our daily rhythms change and adapt to our needs, but the steady beat always supports us.
In 2012, I completed year one of the Certificate in the Foundations of Steiner Education at the Sydney Steiner College. In other seasons of my life I have also attained a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies, Philosophy and World Religion; I am a qualified and experienced TESOL teacher; a certified adult and children’s Hatha Yoga teacher and former Vegan now (ethically-raised and produced) bacon-lover. I am a calendar junkie and I have a knack for putting everything and anything into spreadsheets- just ask my husband! My two favourite pastimes are going on nature walks with my family and having uninterrupted, tea infused chats with one of my dear soul sisters.
I began to document my own journey as a Mama to young children on my blog six years ago, and as its readership grew, the same burning question arose time and again from like-minded Mamas around the world:
How do I bring peace, connection, presence and rhythm to my home?
My mission is to help you create clarity, balance and rhythm within your days, empowering you to give your children the gifts of love, respect, connection and understanding.
I share here how we are joyfully exploring and growing together as a family.
